Today, in anticipation of her new episode, on a beautiful June late afternoon, Whitney finds herself somewhat ravenous…perhaps driven to feed by the driving dirt-bike braap! braap! in the near distance.

The luddite behind the scenes here at ‘A Silkie Chicken & Shakespeare’ had a great conversation with authors Karma Brown & Marcus Kliewer (pronounced ‘Cleaver’) last night at Blue Heron Books. It was a packed house.

Here’s a great shot of Karma & Marcus. The luddite (far left) looks like he’s asleep at the wheel. He assures me, though, that he was indeed rapt.
